Before recycling was the thing to do Sellers have been holding yard sales and garage sales to get rid of the things they no longer want. Buyers have long been finding yard sales a way to save money and with careful selection great quality items like household goods, clothing and other special treasures. With the current economic situation it is a good way to continue the tradition by attending the 13+ Miles of Yard Sales event in Klickitat County WA.
Think of this event as the golden opportunity to find the perfect bargain or treasure. The 142 represents the miles you would travel to visit each town. This does not include visiting each yard sale. Sellers that are part of the 13+ Miles of Yard Sale proudly display their orange "Official Sellers” notice during their yard sale.
The Maps Program ($2.00) is available at the Mt. Adams Chamber, 1 Heritage Plaza (MP 65, Hwy 14, Park and Ride, White Salmon), the Greater Goldendale Chamber, 903 E Broadway, Goldendale, and at various Official Sellers yard sales. The $2.00 is used to support community projects. The Maps Program is a pamphlet of our participating towns, addresses of individual yard sales, and a brief list of bargains and treasures offered at each sale. We would appreciate
receiving compensation for postage.
